Shri Datta Engineers

Sustainable Energy for smart village

Smart Village

Muft Bijli Yojana

Smart Village

The scheme seeks to transform rural Maharashtra through development initiatives. Villages performing well in a range of areas, including cleanliness, health, education, environment, use of InfoTech and renewable energy sources, rewarded by the state government.

Smart Villages is a relatively new concept. It will ensure good education, better, infrastructure, proper sanitation facility, health facilities, waste management, renewable energy, environment protection, clean drinking water, resource use efficiency etc. The emerging concept of Smart Villages refers to rural areas and
communities which build on their existing strengths and assets as well as on developing new opportunities.

Services Offered for the Smart Village:

Solar Home Lighting Systems

Home lighting System is powered by solar energy using solar cells that convert solar energy (sunlight) directly to electricity DC. The electricity can be directly used by DC appliances or can be stored in batteries and used for the purpose of lighting whenever required. Shri Datta Engineers offers home lighting system kit which is quite compact, easily mountable and portable. These systems are manufactured for the domestic applications. The components of this system include solar module, solar battery, charge controller etc.

Solar LED Street Lighting

A typical solar Street light system consists of 5 major components: the solar panel, the battery, the light fixture, the controller and the pole. During the day the solar panel capturing sunlight then convert to electrical energy and stores it in the battery, put into use for the street light in the nights automatically, and cut off during the day time.

Solar Pump

A solar powered water pumping system is made up of two basic components. These are PV panels and pumps. The smallest element of a PV panel is the solar cell that produces direct current (DC) electricity when exposed to light. This DC current is then supplied either to a DC pump, which in turn pumps water whenever the sun shines, or stored in batteries for later use by the pump.

Development of School

Over the years, the government has been actively pursuing initiatives to enhance school facilities. This has resulted in significant improvements in areas such as drinking water, midday meals, sanitation, electricity, and more. Despite commendable progress, achieving equitable distribution of educational resources remains a challenge. Not only do some schools lack electricity connections, but often those that do experience unreliable electricity. This points towards the need for sustained efforts to bridge these gaps in educational resources. Both the government and the private sector are actively working to resolve the load-shedding issue by equipping schools with power backups.

Safe Drinking Water Facility- RO Water Plants

Solar RO Systems are a new concept in India. In such Systems, Solar energy is used to power the RO systems which furthermore generate clean water for drinking purpose. This type of Solar RO Plants can purify water from any sources like water from river, pond, bore well. SOLAR RO system consists of power generation unit and desalination unit. Electricity needed by the system will be supplied by the Solar PV array, Since the RO unit needs a stable power supply, and batteries will be connected for supplying stable power. The energy produced by the PV is stored in battery Bank. The stored energy is used for powering the loads. RO desalination process consists of high pressure pump, membrane unit and pressure control valve at the brine side. The solution is pressed by pump against the membrane, water molecules passes through the membrane reducing the concentration of the solute known as permeate and the rest of the water with high salt concentration is rejected as a waste known as brine. The valve at the brine side is used to control the amount of discharged brine and to control the system pressure

Solar Charging Station

The combination of solar energy and electric vehicle (EV) charging is the key in drastically reducing our dependence on fossil fuels. Electricity comes from a variety of sources and it’s crucial that electric vehicles will be powered by renewables. Electric cars are becoming immensely popular and coming years we expect nearly anyone who owns a solar energy system will install a solar charging station at its home. For this to happen we’ll need a fundamental change in how we think about refueling our cars and a natural evolution of our energy infrastructure.
